Frequently Asked Questions

How are GADEF's funds distributed?

We maintain a lean operational cost structure: 85% of all financial donations go directly toward field restoration, purchasing seed inputs, paying contractual farmer wages, and student training equipment. Only 15% is allocated to administration, regulatory audits, and communications.

Can I donate seedling inputs or field tools instead?

Yes. GADEF welcomes physical donations such as greenhouse nursery trays, high-grade organic soil additives, pruning shears, wheelbarrows, and GIS mapping equipment at our Ado-Ekiti nursery hubs. Email us to coordinate delivery.

Do you issue donor recognition certificates?

Yes. Every donation tier includes a digital Tree Stewardship Certificate that catalogs the native trees funded, their botanical names, and the GPS coordinates of the restoration site where they have been planted in Ekiti State.
