Memorial Arboretum Project

Establishment of a dedicated arboretum inside Ekiti State University campus for conserving rare, endangered indigenous wood species and tree genetic resources native to Nigeria's southwestern forests.
Indigenous Seed Bank Initiative
Livelihood support with local contractual farmers
Working alongside 58+ local contractual farmers to gather, catalog, store, and germinate seeds of high-value indigenous species like Garcinia kola (Orogbo) to secure local biological capital.
Forestry & IT Student Training
IT partnership with FUTA and EKSU students
Providing hands-on forest restoration, digital mapping, and biodiversity logging training to Industrial Training (IT) students from FUTA and EKSU, raising the next generation of eco-scientists.
